There are too many reasons why a girl in a developing country will go uneducated. Girls Education Collaborative is doing great work to help eliminate some of those reasons for girls across the globe. Their first project is in Kitenga, a rural village in Africa.
Currently, they need help to fund the building of a road leading into the Kitenga School for Girls (If you can believe it, there are NO roads in this village!), an all girls boarding school, sponsored by GEC. Join me in supporting their mission and paving a pathway to success for these deserving girls!!
My #Krazy4Kitenga challenge is: to dance to whatever song my top fundraiser chooses, completely choreographed by my 11-year-old sister, Teresa (pictured on the right). If I reach my fundraising goal, I will post this in a video to Facebook, and send via email, for your viewing pleasure!
My sisters in the photo are the ages of girls GEC is helping in Kitenga. I can't imagine my baby sisters having to go through what these girls deal with on a daily basis. For that reason, I am all in for GEC and #Krazy4Kitenga.
