Hijab Khan's Fundraiser
We can build a pathway to new futures for deserving girls in Kitenga!
For every $5 you donate, 1 ft of road is built- talk about making your dollar stretch!
There are too many reasons why a girl in a developing country will go uneducated. Girls Education Collaborative is doing great work to help eliminate some of those reasons for girls across the globe. Their first project is in Kitenga, a rural Tanzanian village in Africa.
Currently, they need help to fund the building of a road leading into the Kitenga School for Girls (If you can believe it, there are NO roads in this village!), an all girls boarding school, sponsored by GEC. Join me in supporting their mission and paving a pathway to success for these deserving girls!!
My #Krazy4Kitenga challenge is: doing a polar bear plunge! If I raise $300 or more, I will jump into Lake Erie at the end of November wearing a host of ridiculous swimming accessories and post a video of the ordeal on facebook. If you're interesting in helping girls learn and also watching me embarrass myself, this is the place for you!
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Girls Education Collaborative. Thank you!
