I'm Getting #Krazy4Kitenga!

Hi all,

On October 11, it was International Day of the Girl. In honor of that day and what it represents, I am taking on a challenge to benefit Girls Education Collaborative and the girls school they are helping to build in a very rural area in Tanzania, called Kitenga.

When I learned that in Kitenga, it is customary for girls to go without an education, to be forced into marriage as preteens, to go through the horrific experiences like female genital mutilation, with high rates of death during childbirth, and increased diagnoses of AIDS, I knew I had to help.

That's why I signed up to "Get Krazy For Kitenga" to support Girls Education Collaborative. The goal of this campaign is to build 1,000 ft of road leading to the Kitenga School for Girls—and you can be a part of it!

For every $5 you donate, 1 ft of road is built- talk about making your dollar stretch!
