Hi everyone,
I have gotten involved with an amazing non-profit in Buffalo, NY called Girls Education Collaborative (GEC). The organization is passionate about offering good educational opportunities to girls in areas of the world where education is not easily accessible and often not encouraged. They are focusing on Kitenga, a remote village in northern Tanzania where life is hard and poverty is generational. GEC has successfully built The Kitenga School for Girls, which will provide health and life skills education, workforce training, leadership development and other resources that are vital to unlocking each girl's potential.
I am excited about this organization and their mission, and I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me raise funds for their newest initiative - building a road to the school!
Whoever donates the largest gift will receive his or her favorite baked good from me. No baked good is off-limits so go crazy! If you don't live in Buffalo, I will FedEx the treat to you. Just a small donation will go a long way to help me meet my $400 goal. $5 = 1 ft. of road! GEC is hoping to raise $5,000 total for #Krazy4Kitenga and 100% of the donations will go toward building the road to The Kitenga School for Girls.
